10.05.2010 Volunteer Opportunity

Air pollution is one of Los Angeles’ biggest problems. Our dependence on coal and oil industries for power harms both local residents and the environment at large. However, there are solutions towards cleaner energy, and away from these unsustainable resources. A transition towards a greener Los Angeles would not only end our fossil fuel addiction, but also create much-needed jobs. Come join Greenpeace, the Sierra Club, GreenLA, 350.org and many more organizations in a rally against dirty coal and stand up for the right to a greener future! They need volunteers to help out before and during the event, so if you’d like to get more involved, please contact Alex at alexandra.heyn@gmail.com. Come out, have a great time, and join us in the fight against dirty coal!
