12.27.2010 Beekeeping: Completely Illegal in L.a.
L.A. is just more complicated than most cities because the laws are super confusing and made up of many municipalities that morphed over the years into the greater L.A. area.
According to the New York Times, The beekeeping bans stem from municipalities trying to remove any trace of agriculture after WWII, showing signs of progress. (Shevory, Kristina. “The Beekeeper Next Door” New York Times, December 8, 2010)

12.01.2010 Tbyb Bottle Demonstration
Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth and helped out with the demonstration on Nov. 30, 2010. We gave away over 100 reusable water bottles and I happy to report that the bottles are showing up all over campus in use. The big bag of bottles was a great attention grabber. Several students and staff members applauded us for bringing up the issues with bottled water.
