I’m leading this presentation on “more” Sustainable Landscaping Friday evening (tomorrow), come a little early and see the gardens, then settle down and check out my version of the UC Master Gardener view of Sustainable Landscaping.

The presentation is free, with vegan snacks from O Happy Days and tea… Also we are offering a number of classes and publicizing them on the meetup site so I’d encourage you to check it out and join up….

This is an introduction to our Four-week Sustainable Landscaping Workshop.

Kitchen Gardeners/Urban Farmers “More” Sustainable Landscaping presentation
Come learn the what, why, and how about sustainable landscaping at a free presentation.

What? Design and plan a landscape that provides for your needs while nurturing the dynamic cycles of nature
Why? Save money, improve family, home, and community heath, and reconnect with nature
How? Assess your current situation and the options available and develop an informed plan and schedule

The State of California trained a number of local Master Gardeners to help their communities adopt more sustainable landscapes. Experts from UC Davis, UC Riverside and several other research centers taught a series of classes over a weekend at the Huntington Gardens. This 90 minute presentation / discussion will summarize these presentations and provide information more targeted to the needs of homeowners in the Pasadena area.

Thanks, as always, for your support
